The following core values will form the basis of our ministries at every level:
BIBLICAL AUTHORITY
We will embrace the Holy Scriptures as the source of inspired authority for faith, life and ministry.
BIBLICAL AUTHORITY
We will embrace the Holy Scriptures as the source of inspired authority for faith, life and ministry.
GREAT COMMISSION
We will reach the lost and disciple the saints in any context.
KINGDOM PERSPECTIVE
We will focus on building God’s kingdom as we fulfill our vision, mission and calling.
SPIRITUAL PASSION
We will love the Lord passionately and serve humankind fervently.
EMPOWERING PEOPLE
We will build healthy local churches by equipping and empowering believers for ministry.
INTEGRITY AND JUSTICE
We will conduct all our affairs with probity and Godly fear, endeavouring always to uphold the unchangeable principles of God’s Word and the laws of the land.
CORPORATE OBJECTIVES
The vision of MCA will be achieved through a set of eight groups of objectives broken down into functional areas of the organization. Some of the objectives will be driven directly by the General Board while others will be delegated to the Districts and ultimately to the local congregations.
Statement Of Faith
The following is our Statement of Faith:
o We believe that the scriptures, both Old and New Testament, are the
inspired Word of God, without error in its original writings, the complete
revelations of His will for the salvation of persons, and the divine and final
authority for Christian faith and practice.
o We believe in one God, creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
o We believe that Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary, that he arose bodily from the dead and that he ascended to heaven where he is now Intercessor and advocate for the saints.
o We that believe the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ God, and to convict humankind of sin, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct and empower the believer for Godly living and service.
o We believe that humans were created in the image of God and fell into sin, thereby not only incurring physical death, but also spiritual death, which is separation from God; and that all human beings are sinful by nature and in need of redemption, which can be accomplished only by the transforming grace and power of God.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures, as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who believe in Him are justified on the grounds of His sacrificial death, and become heirs of eternal life.
o We believe that the Christian life is a life of discipleship, involving a personal response of faith and obedience to Jesus Christ and to the Word of God leading to life of holiness, witness, and service through the Holy Spirit.
o We believe that the true Church is composed of all such persons who through saving faith in Jesus Christ alone have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the body of Christ, which transcends and overcomes culture, national, rational, and ethnic boundaries and which Christ is the head.
o We believe in the personal and visible return of our Lord Jesus Christ, in the power and glory to consummate His salvation and His judgment.
o We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead: of the believer to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord and of the unbeliever to everlasting conscious punishment.
o We believe that salvation is achieved through faith alone in Christ alone, by His grace alone
